Ducks Unlimited, Regenified partner to scale regenerative farming

< 1 minute read

Ducks Unlimited (DU) has announced a new partnership with regenerative farming certification agency Regenified aimed at accelerating the adoption of regenerative agriculture practices while strengthening conservation outcomes across working lands.

The collaboration brings together DU’s long-standing expertise in habitat conservation and agricultural partnerships with Regenified’s regenerative certification framework. The goal is to provide farmers and ranchers with practical pathways to implement regenerative practices that improve soil health, biodiversity, and water quality.

DU says it has increasingly focused on working lands as a critical lever for conservation, supporting producers with science-based practices such as cover crops, reduced tillage and wildlife habitat restoration. These approaches are balanced to enhance both farm productivity and ecological resilience.

Through the partnership, producers will have access to Regenified’s standards and verification system, helping quantify and validate on-farm regenerative outcomes. This is expected to strengthen market opportunities for farmers while ensuring environmental claims are backed by measurable results.

The initiative reflects a broader trend toward scaling regenerative agriculture through cross-sector collaboration. DU has emphasized that partnerships with farmers, corporations, and conservation groups are essential to delivering “win-win” outcomes that benefit producers, wildlife, and ecosystems alike.

Regenerative practices are increasingly recognized for their ability to improve soil structure, enhance biodiversity and build resilience against climate variability. At the same time, adoption at scale remains a challenge, making collaborative efforts like this one critical for expanding impact.

The DU–Regenified partnership aims to create a scalable model for integrating regenerative agriculture with verified conservation outcomes, potentially offering a blueprint for future collaborations across the ag sector.
