USDA accepting comments for NOSB meeting

The National Organic Standards Board is accepting comments on topics for its spring meeting.

Comments can be submitted through April 3.

USDA National Organic Program logo sealThe National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) generally meets twice each year in a public forum to discuss and vote on recommendations to the USDA.

These recommendations help the department develop and refine organic standards, according to a news release.
The NOSB will meet in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, April 29-May 1. The in-person meeting will be webcast live for those who cannot travel.

Comments will also be accepted during online sessions from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern on April 23 and April 25. The in-person meeting will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Central April 29-May 1, at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center.

The room reservation cutoff date is April 7.

Information to access the webinars and live meeting webcast will be posted to the NOSB Spring 2024 Meeting webpage in early March.

Stakeholder Engagement Encouraged
The NOSB invites oral and written public comment on its Spring 2024 agenda topics. Registration for oral comment speaking slots will open in early March 2024. Written comments may be submitted via Regulations.gov.
