The Organic Trade Association (OTA) will host a members-only webinar later this month to provide an update on federal policy developments affecting the organic sector.

Organic Trade Association logo.“State of the Hill: Q1 2026 Legislative Outlook for Organic” is scheduled for Feb. 27 at 1 p.m. ET. The webinar will offer an overview of key legislative and regulatory priorities in Washington and what they could mean for organic farmers, businesses and the broader supply chain.

According to OTA, the session will cover 2026 federal policy priorities for organic, current areas of focus for Congress and federal agencies, and how the association is advancing policies aimed at protecting organic integrity, strengthening domestic markets and supporting farmers and organic businesses.

The webinar will also outline ways OTA members can engage with policymakers and help influence policy outcomes.
