National Organic Program official discusses regulation issues

National Organic Program (NOP) Deputy Administrator Jennifer Tucker recently discussed regulatory issues on a Fresh Take, a podcast produced by the Florida Organic Growers group.

Tucker discussed a variety of issues during the interview, including the NOP’s standards, label integrity, fraud, and resources available for producers and consumers, Florida Organic Growers said on Twitter.

Tucker, who was promoted to her current position in June 2018, previously was the NOP’s Associate Deputy Administrator for seven years. She has a doctorate degree in science and technology studies from Virginia Tech University.
