BioSafe Systems announces new hires
BioSafe Systems is pleased to announce new additions to its staff.
Swaraj Lavande has been hired into BioSafe Systems’ Engineering team, according to a press release from the company. Swaraj is joining BioSafe Systems as the new Controls Engineer. Swaraj received his bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation & Controls Engineering from the University of Pune in Maharashtra, India. He came to the United States in the Fall of 2016 to pursue his Master’s in Electrical Engineering – Control Systems from Wayne State University. He graduated in 2018.
Prior to BioSafe Systems, Swaraj worked at Omaha Automation as a Controls Engineer – Weld Automation Engineer, according to BioSafe Systems. While pursuing his master’s degree, he worked as a Controls Engineer Intern with ID Engineering & Automated Systems in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
“These experiences have enhanced my analytical and problem-solving skills and would prove beneficial to more innovative and progressive platforms,” he said in the press release. Swaraj’s education and work experience make him a great addition to the BioSafe Systems team.
Kevin Wagner has been hired as a label designer. Born and raised in Waterbury, Connecticut, Kevin graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts & Graphic Design, according to a press release from the company. In 2003, he moved to Wolcott, Connecticut.
Kevin’s experience makes him a great addition to BioSafe Systems. He was previously a Label Production Manager for Somoroff Design, LLC in Southbury, CT and handled all labels for Castrol Oil in the North American, Central American and Canadian divisions.
In his spare time, Kevin enjoys bowling, golf and going to the beach. “I’m looking forward to working at BioSafe Systems because of the family atmosphere and the passion that everyone has shown about their work and creating a better tomorrow,” he said in a press release.
