Take the 2026 Farm Market Pricing Survey

Farm market operators are invited to participate in Organic Grower’s 2026 Farm Market Pricing Survey. The survey gathers information on pricing for organic fruits, vegetables, baked goods and other market products, helping growers benchmark their prices and track trends in consumer demand.

Last year’s survey drew responses from 34 states and highlighted the challenges farm market operators face, including rising labor costs, inflation and competition from other markets. Many markets raised prices 10% to 30% to cover higher input costs, while pricing decisions were shaped by factors such as competitor pricing, grocery store comparisons, and production expenses.

The survey also explores pre-picked versus u-pick pricing, the impact of baked goods and value-added products on sales, and how operators adjust prices based on labor, weather, and customer preferences. Insights from the survey are used to inform the annual Farm Market Pricing Report, a valuable resource for market operators aiming to stay competitive and profitable.

You can complete the 2026 Farm Market Pricing Survey through March 20, 2026. All qualified respondents who complete the survey will be entered to win a $50 gift card.
