Seedway LLC forms Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) department

Seedway LLC’s new Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) department is in collaboration with Sakata Seed America.

With indoor vegetable production growing in popularity, it has always been SEEDWAY’s goal to bring quality products and varieties that are best suited for the commercial vegetable producer.

Using the depth of SEEDWAY’s and Sakata Seed America’s vegetable seed product portfolio will give SEEDWAY leverage when supplying the best-suited varieties for CEA growers, including traditional greenhouse and vertical farms.

Evelyn Zaleski, CEA sales representative, and trials coordinator will oversee the sales growth for this new venture into a developing market in the ag industry. Zaleski is no stranger to the selection of quality vegetable seed products. In 2020 she was hired as SEEDWAY’s product development coordinator.

In her previous role, Zaleski was responsible for preparing seeds for samples and trials, tracking and organizing trial results for suppliers, and evaluating product trials.
