Organic Grower names new publishing, sales staff
Great American Media Services, the parent company of Organic Grower, recently hired and promoted staff in its specialty agriculture media group.
Greg Sebel was promoted to associate publisher of three of Great American’s media brands: Organic Grower, Fruit Growers News and Vegetable Growers News. For the past 13 years, he has served as an integrated marketing consultant for Fruit Growers News and Vegetable Growers News.
“Greg has done an incredible job of growing our client base over the years, and he brings the highest level of consultative sales and service to each of them,” Vice President and Group Publisher Gerry Bogdon said in a news release from the company. “His innovative ideas and can-do attitude are an asset to our specialty agriculture group, and we look forward to successfully launching new endeavors under his leadership.”
At the same time, Cindi Olwell was hired to manage the western accounts of Fruit Growers News, Vegetable Growers News and Organic Grower. A California resident, Olwell is experienced in agricultural media sales for the Western market, most recently with Meister Media Worldwide where she served as advertising and event sales manager. She was a consistent top performer at Meister, specializing in selling print and digital advertising, event sponsorships and custom packages. Her sales territory with Great American Media Services includes California, Washington, Oregon and Arizona.
