The three-day conference will bring together farmers, agricultural service providers, researchers and industry professionals from across the Northeast to discuss vegetable, berry and tree fruit production, farm management and emerging agricultural technologies.

The educational program will include five concurrent sessions each morning and afternoon, covering topics such as organic production, protected culture, soil and water management, postharvest handling, crop production and farm business management.

Tuesday’s sessions will address apples, strawberries, sweet corn, cucurbits, stone fruit, cut flowers and sprayer technology. Wednesday’s program will cover tomatoes, brambles, cover crops, specialty fruit, winter growing and farm business management. Thursday’s sessions will focus on blueberries, root crops, weed management, seed saving, soil amendments and postharvest handling.

The conference will also feature 13 Farmer-to-Farmer discussion sessions, Worker Protection Standard Train-the-Trainer certification and a research poster session highlighting student and faculty work.

The trade show will include more than 120 exhibitors, along with opportunities for growers to meet with researchers, agricultural advisors and industry representatives.

Pre-registration costs $130 per person, $100 for additional attendees registering together and $60 for students. The pre-registration deadline is Nov. 30. Standard registration increases to $165 after that date, while registration after Dec. 11 or at the event costs $180.
