Certis USA hires Joshua Kim as supply chain manager
Joshua Kim has joined Certis USA’s manufacturing as supply chain manager.
He will helm the biologicals leader’s efforts in managing supplies of its broad portfolio of solutions across global markets, according to a news release from the company.
Kim brings experience in supply chains from work with BASF as Field Analyst, PPG as Operations Planning Supervisor, and at Synthomer as Global Demand Manager. He is a Certified Supply Chain Professional, certified in production and inventory management from the Association for Supply Chain Management.
“With the growing demand for biologicals and Certis’ movement into more global markets, it is integral that our supply chain continues to perform at its peak so that we can have product available when our channel-partners and growers need it,” Kyle Beery, Certis’ director of manufacturing, said in the news release.
Kim joins Certis at the company headquarters in Columbia, Maryland. Certis currently manufactures biologicals at three facilities – two domestic and one international – and distributes to more than 50 countries globally through a network of channel partners. With an industry-leading portfolio of biological insecticides, miticides, herbicides, fungicides and bactericides, Certis provides nearly 40 biological products that growers use to manage IPM plans in agriculture, garden and greenhouse markets.
“I am looking forward to consistently ensuring that those products are in the areas they need to be so that growers can utilize them to protect their crops when they need them most,” Kim said in the release. “Bridging manufacturing and our distribution channels across all territories globally and domestically is vital to continuing to meet our customers where they are with the solution they need when they need it.”
