AgroFresh names new COO, three other executives

AgroFresh Solutions Inc. has added four members to its senior leadership team, including a chief operations officer.

Ian MacKellar has more than 30 years of manufacturing and supply chain experience and was most recently the site leader for Pfizer’s production facility in Kansas. As COO, MacKellar, who has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Michigan State University and is a certified Lean Six Sigma black belt, will lead AgroFresh’s global operations group.

Claudio Rodrigues, AgroFresh’s new chief information officer, has 29 years of information technology and cybersecurity experience. Most recently executive director and head of IT for Noven Pharmaceutical, Rodrigues also held several senior-level positions with Stiefel and Pfizer. He has a bachelor’s in computer and information science from Ohio State University and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional.

Bradford Warner, who most recently led the commercial development of agricultural data-as-a-service and ESG offerings for AGI Digital, is AgroFresh’s new executive director of digital and data business. He has a bachelor’s from Truman State University and a master’s from Old Dominion University.

As AgroFresh’s new chief human capital officer, Kristi Reinholz will lead efforts to attract, develop and retain customer-focused talent. Most recently chief people officer for Unilever North America with more than 25 years’ experience building high-performing teams, she has a bachelor’s in psychology from Elon University.

“As part of our growth strategy, we have appointed new leaders to our senior team who will bolster our capabilities and enhance our ability to support our customers,” AgroFresh CEO Clint Lewis said in a news release. “As a global company with operations, employees and customers of varying sizes and complexities across the major produce-growing regions, it is imperative that we have leaders with the experience and expertise to both enable our business and to better our ability to enable our customers’ business.”
