Organic Produce Summit 2025 to spotlight industry trends and innovations
The Organic Produce Summit (OPS) is set to return to Monterey, California, on July 9 and 10, 2025, bringing together over 200 organic growers, shippers and processors with retailers and buyers from across North America.
The ninth annual event will feature keynote presentations, educational sessions and networking opportunities focused on the organic fresh produce industry.
OPS 2025 will open with field tours for qualified retailers and buyers, offering insights into organic farming practices. Additional activities include morning yoga, a community service event packing produce bags for local families and an opening night reception.
A variety of educational sessions will address pressing industry topics, including:
- The Pros & Cons of Private Label & Branded Organic Produce
- Merchandising Magic: The Power of Wow on Operations, Profitability & Customer Engagement
- The Economics of Organic: Navigating Opportunities & Uncertainty in 2025
Industry leaders will also spearhead three keynote sessions:
- The State of Organic Produce, led by Jeff Huckaby, CEO of Grimmway Produce Group, and Meagan Nelson, VP of retail & distributor growth for SPINS
- From Soil to Sale – Making Sense of AI in Organic Agriculture, led by Timothy Childs, founder & co-CEO of Nutri8
- Retail Roundtable, led by Scot Olson, president of FreshSource
