MarbleSeed farming conference scholarships available

Scholarships and volunteer opportunities are open for Marbleseed’s 35th Organic Farming Conference.

The conference theme this year is Roots & Rhizomes: Growing Together. The event  is Feb. 22-24 in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Scholarships are available to reduce the cost to attend the conference. Priority may be given to beginning farmers, veterans, historically underserved farmers, those who have not attended the conference before and those for whom the cost is a financial barrier. Tell us why you want to attend the Marbleseed Conference and need a scholarship to make that happen. Scholarship rates are $40 per day for adults and free for children ages 3-17. Applications are due Dec. 18.

The scholarship application is available in both English and Spanish, and interpretation services will be available to attendees at the conference.

Interested in volunteering at the 35th Organic Farming Conference? In exchange for 8-10 hours of service, you can attend the conference at a discounted rate. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
