Nature Fresh Farms adding Ohio distribution center ahead of strawberry production

Organic grower Nature Fresh Farms is expanding operations, adding a 60,000-square-foot distribution center in Delta, Ohio.

The center will featuring high-tech fabrication and automation, according to a news release.

“With our new 45-acre organic strawberry facility set to come online this fall, our new distribution center will help to accommodate the influx in product, providing simultaneous precision climate regulation of various commodities, advanced monitoring, and modernized product protection measures,” Frank Neufeld, executive vice president, Nature Fresh Farms Sales, said the news release.

Based in Leamington, Ontario, Nature Fresh has facilities in Delta, Ohio; Laredo, Texas; and Mexico. Family owned and managed, the company ships non-GMO, greenhouse grown produce year-round to retailers throughout North America.

Its organic products include mini sweet peppers, mini cucumbers, bell peppers and red grape tomatoes.
