Great American Media Services, which publishes Organic Grower, Fruit Growers News and Vegetable Growers News, is putting together our annual Farm Market Pricing Guide and needs your input to make it the best resource yet.
Properly pricing farm market produce and goods can be tricky. In the 2025 Farm Market Pricing Survey, farm market operators are surveyed on factors that shape how leading marketers charge for fruits, vegetables and other food.
The 2024 survey fielded responses from farm markets in 39 states as well as Canada, India and St. Lucia, with most participants from Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, California and Washington.
Farm market operator input is welcomed. Operators will be surveyed on things like pricing strategies, labor and inflation impacts, and how well baked good products perform. Participants are also surveyed on the top fruit and vegetable varieties that farm markets promote through premium prices.
Farm market operators can complete the 2025 Farm Market Pricing Survey through March 10, 2025. All qualified respondents who complete the survey will be entered to win a $50 gift card.
