Upcoming B2B sessions to connect California nut producers with global buyers

The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA), in partnership with the California Agricultural Export Council (CAEC), will host more than 10 prequalified buyers of bulk dried fruit and nut products from India and Southeast Asia in Fresno and the Greater Sacramento area from Nov. 3-7, 2025.

The program offers California growers and processors an opportunity to showcase their products, expand international business relationships and meet with buyers through a series of B2B sessions and facility site visits. Participants can opt to host buyers at their facilities, giving potential international clients a firsthand look at operations and products.

The itinerary begins on Monday, Nov. 3, with site visits in Fresno. On Tuesday, Nov. 4, B2B “speed dating” sessions will be held in Fresno from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., allowing participants to engage directly with buyers. Wednesday, Nov. 5, includes site visits between Fresno and Sacramento, followed by another round of B2B meetings on Thursday, Nov. 6, in Sacramento. The event concludes Friday, Nov. 7, with additional site visits in the Greater Sacramento area.

Registration is now open for both site visits and B2B sessions. Site visit registrations indicate interest in hosting the buyer delegation, and participants are encouraged to also attend a B2B session to maximize networking opportunities. B2B meetings in both Fresno and Sacramento are priced at $150 per session.

This initiative is designed to strengthen California’s position as a leading exporter of nuts and dried fruits while providing producers with direct access to key international buyers.
