USDA seeks comments for NOSB fall meeting

The National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) has opened registration for people who want to speak at online comment sessions or submit written comments for the board’s fall meeting.

Commenters can register to speak during one of two webinars from noon to 5 p.m. Eastern on Oct. 17 and Oct. 19. The NOSB’s meeting will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern Oct. 24-26 in Portland, Maine,

The deadline for submitting written comments and requesting a three-minute slot for oral comments during the two webinars is 11:59 p.m. Eastern on Sept. 28.

The USDA’s National Organic Program will provide links to the virtual comment webinars and the public meeting approximately one week before the webinars.
