Watsonville, California’s A&A Organic Farms reports that the production of its springtime crops is in full swing.

A&A markets organic artichokes, organic sugar snap peas, organic broccoli, organic kales, organic chards and even organic turmeric from its central California hub.

The business also has steady production of organic strawberries from both the central coast and from Ensenada MX that are packed in 1-pound clamshells, 1-pound Ready Cycle packaging, and open-pint Ready Cycle containers.

Ready Cycle is cardboard packaging made with vegetable-based inks, food-grade adhesives, and a water-based coating.

“By offering both traditional clamshell packs and Ready Cycle we can give clients a choice of packaging,” according to a press release from the company. “This packaging enables us to follow our commitment to help provide customers with options for environmentally sustainable and earth-friendly packaging.”

Organic Citrus – limes and Valencia oranges – continue to be a major product for A & A Organic Farms.

“We are sending a container per week of organic limes from the Jalisco area,” said company president Andy Martin said. “Organic Lime production will be steady all year.”
