BioSafe promotes Eric Smith to sales manager

BioSafe Systems LLC recently announced the promotion of employee Eric Smith to turf and ornamental sales manager.

“Eric Smith has always been a valued member of the BioSafe Systems family,” according to a news release from the company. “His knowledge and experience supports members of the Turf and Ornamental division and helps BioSafe Systems share its mission and message: Simply Sustainable. Always Effective. His commitment is unmistakable.”

In the new role, Smith will be in charge of implementing the sales activities, identifying new market opportunities and defining the actions required to continue turf and ornamental’s growth initiatives, according to the news release. Smith and his team will continue to develop opportunities and partnerships within ornamentals, grounds maintenance, cannabis/hemp, turf, greenhouse vegetables and closed environmental agriculture markets.

Eric joined BioSafe Systems in August of 2016 and has played a critical role in the development of the turf and ornamental division, according to the news release. For the past two years, he has also managed the East Coast turf and ornamental team and was recently voted into the executive leadership track of the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association, one of the oldest and most celebrated grower associations in the U.S.
