Rijk Zwaan’s leafy hydroponics demo set for next month
Vegetable breeding company Rijk Zwaan will feature its hydroponics assortment and high-density, loose-leaf solutions for the fresh-cut industry at its Winter Leafy Hydroponics High Tech Demo.
The event will take place Feb. 1-10 in Dinteloord, Netherlands.
New and existing concepts on display will include Salatrio, the company’s hydroponically grown three-headed lettuce bouquet, as well as the Crystal and Salanova gem varieties.
The varieties will be displayed under artificial light for horticultural professionals from around the world to inspect.
The demo, Rijk Zwaan’s first of the year, will take place in conjunction with Fruit Logistica in Berlin.
