Great Lakes Tek Flex brings robotics and AI to specialty crops

Time is running out to secure early bird pricing for the inaugural Great Lakes Tek Flex, set for Sept. 10-11 at the Michigan State University Southwest Michigan Research and Extension Center in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Early bird registration closes Sept. 1, after which registration prices will increase.

The two-day event will showcase autonomous equipment, precision agriculture systems and emerging AI technologies for specialty crop growers. Field demonstrations will include autonomous vehicles, “See and Spray” systems, AI perception tools, orchard management equipment, harvesting technology, drone spraying and AI-based decision support systems.

Growers will be able to see commercially available equipment in operation and connect with ag-tech manufacturers. The event also will feature discussions about technology adoption, including challenges and resources related to implementing new technology on farms.
