AgroThrive donating fertilizer to children’s educational farm

Organic biofertilizer manufacturer AgroThrive will help support a California nonprofit children’s educational farm in recognition of World Children’s Day.

Observance of the United Nations event, established in 1954, runs from Nov. 20 to Nov. 27. For every purchase of liquid organic fertilizer made on those days, AgroThrive will donate the same amount of fertilizer to Farm Discovery at Live Earth in Watsonville, California.

AgroThrive has worked with Farm Discovery since 2021. The nonprofit empowers youth and families to build and sustain healthy food, farming, social and natural systems through field trips, farm camps, hands-on workshops and other events.

“Offering a place where children can be immersed into the world of sustainable food production in a clean, pesticide-free environment is truly special,” Marko Macura, AgroThrive marketing director, said. “Farm Discovery serves as an ecological haven for community members to experience organic farming through its natural challenges and beauties, and we are excited to be a part of the fun.”
