Acadian Plant Health expands direct sales presence in California
Acadian Plant Health expanded its direct market presence in California, appointing Michael Lombardi and Eric “Rick” Ebbinghausen as territory sales representatives as the company shifted to direct sales and distribution of Acadian and Acadian Organic products.
Effective Sept. 1, Acadian began marketing and distributing the products directly across California and the U.S. The company said its California team will work with retailers, pest control advisers (PCAs), crop consultants and growers, providing commercial and technical support.

Lombardi and Ebbinghausen will lead customer engagement across California. They will work with Alessandro Mariani, vice president, commercial North America; Richard Rasmussen, western business manager; Ted Walter, marketing manager, North America; and Andres Gauge, regional technical adviser.
“California is a strategic market for Acadian, and expanding our direct presence reflects our long-term commitment to the customers and growers we serve,” Mariani said. “We are investing in people, technical expertise and local support to build stronger relationships and provide customers with direct access to Acadian and our solutions.”
The company said the expanded team will also support product education, field demonstrations, trials, new product launches and market development.
Acadian’s products are based on Ascophyllum nodosum. Acadian Plant Health is a division of Acadian Seaplants Limited.
