Certis Biologicals recently hired Nick Vandervort as Midwestern Field Development Manager.
Vandervort joins the team of field development experts charged with managing field trial programs, providing technical support to the Certis Biologicals sales team and interfacing with the agriculture research community to enhance the efficacy and science behind the company’s industry-leading portfolio of biological solutions, according to a news release from the company.
A new study from researchers at the University of California, Davis, finds that pesticides not only directly affect bee health, but effects from past exposure can carry over to future generations. The study, published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, suggests that bees may require multiple generations to recover from even a single application.
