Increased acreage and availability are driving down organic lemon prices, according to a recent report from Organic Produce Network.

The $250 million redevelopment of Growers Ice Co.’s 28-acre campus in Salinas, California, into a 400,000-square-foot facility with dedicated space for the handling of organic produce is expected to be complete in early 2026.

Organic citrus continues to be plentiful, with peak season supply in late February and promotional opportunities extending into March, according to Organic Produce Network’s Week 7 report.
